Description

On the front are seven images of: the state flag, the state capitol, the state bird, loading cotton on the Mississippi River, the state flower, Norris Dam, and the State Seal. There is also words for a song called “My Homeland, Tennessee”, music by Roy Lamont Smith and words by Nell Grayson Taylor Pearson. The back side of the post card has a caption that reads, “Nickname – Volunteer State; State Capital – Nashville; State Flower – Iris; Area in Sq. miles 42,022; Entered the Union, June 1, 1796”
