dc.description.abstract | My work explores cuteness and whimsical creatures, I like to view them as an escape from our reality. Whenever I finish a new piece, I can imagine it existing in another world separate from our own. One that is filled with fluffy bunnies, purring kittens, and cotton candy clouds. My practice includes painting, sculpture, and ceramics. I enjoy the process of working with my hands and building something out of nothing. I like thinking about what I can do to my pieces to make them represent me and I find it therapeutic to spend the time meticulously accessorizing each one. | |
