Author's thesis statement: I plan on creating a 3D sculpted model of a fantasy creature/monster. The design will be generally realistic and intended for a videogame setting. The 3D model will be made so that the project can be continued to be developed with rigging and animation. As time permits, I will begin the process of re-topologizing, UV unwrapping, and extracting displacement maps. I will use ZBrush for the sculpting, coloring, and posing of the creature. I will then use Maya, Arnold and Photoshop for rending the final images and videos. The goal of this project is to create a professional creature 3D model to put in my portfolio that showcases my concepting and sculpting skills. I plan on using this model in future projects to develop my rigging and creature animation skills as well.
