In 1866, was organized as a Sunday school by Captain Edward Barker Ross and with cooperation with Mr. J. B. Killebrew. In 1907 the chapel was renovated through the kindness of Dr. John and Mrs. Ross. Rev. Samuel Ringgold served as the rector of Trinity around 1864. He "was essentiall a missionary. In addition to suburbran work... he labored ceaselessly at Rossview, then known as 'White Chapel'.
