dc.descriptionMayor of Clarksville, 1859-1864. He lived from 1795 to 1864. He was a partner in the dry goods business in 1836 in New Providence. He operated the Franklin House hotel in 1854. He was one the three men who surrendered Clarksville to Flag Office Andrew Foote.
