dc.descriptionOn the front of the post card is an image of an iron furnace at Land Between the Lakes. The back has a caption that says, “The Great Western Iron Furnace is one of the few remaining remnants of an iron industry that flourished in the Land Between The Lakes (LBL) region during the mid-19th century. LBL is a 170,000-acre national recreation area located in western Kentucky and Tennessee.”
