dc.descriptionOn the front of the post card is a picture taken of a federal building in Clarksville, TN. The back side has a caption that says, “Built by the Federal Government in 1898 as a Post Office and Customs House, this imposing structure is a blend of several classic architectural styles. The building housed the Clarksville Department of Electricity from 1936 to 1982 and is the proposed site for a city museum. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
