dc.descriptionOn the front of the post card is an image of a confederate monument at Fort Donelson. The back has a caption that reads, “Fort Donelson National Military park and Cemetery is near Dover, Tennessee, the trade center and recreation area of Stewart County. This impressive memorial is near the earthworks on the west margin of the park. This monument was erected in memory of the Confederate soldier by the Tennessee Division, United Daughters of the Confederacy.”
