Photograph of Dunbar Cave. This picture captures the expansive concrete dance floor and entrance to Dunbar Cave. Big band groups and performers such as Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, and Benny Goodman were regular attractions during the 1930s. Entertainer Roy Acuff purchased the Dunbar Cave area in 1948. He built the present golf course and began featuring country music and square dancing at the cave.
