dc.descriptionOn the front of the post card is an image of the visitor center for Fort Donelson. The back has a caption that says, “The Fort Donelson visitor center at Fort Donelson National Battlefield, Dover, Tennessee. It was opened in February 1962, the Centennial of the battle here, and is administered by the Department of the Interior, National Park Service. Here, visitors may browse the Museum and see a 15-minute Theater Program. Much of the battlefield can be seen from the Observation Deck.”
