The message reads, “Hello Ercell how are you this lovely morning? Fine and dandy I hope. We arrived in Clarksville last P.M. and I am having a lovely time. We’ll leave here today for Hopkinsville Ky. And will write you from there. Have walked 110 miles and feeling fine.”
